KERALA INCENTIVE PROGRAMME
This journey will take us to God’s own country Kerala, known for its backwaters and relaxed and peaceful lifestyle. We also visit the neighbouring city Kumarakom to appreciate the music, literature, dance and festivals on this fascinating incentive trip.
Day 01 : Arrive Cochin (D)
Morning/ afternoon: Reception upon arrival at the International airport where you will be welcomed with garland and transfer to Hotel and Check in. Cochin, a vibrant city situated on the south-west coast of the Indian peninsula in the breathtakingly scenic and prosperous state of Kerala, hailed as 'God's Own Country'. It’s strategic importance over the centuries is underlined by the sobriquet Queen of the Arabian Sea. The history of this city began when a major flood in AD 1341 threw open the estuary at Cochin, till then a land locked region, turning it into one of the finest natural harbours in the world. Cochin became the first European town-ship in India when the Portuguese settled here in the 15th century. It was declared a major port in 1936. Afternoon is free to relax or for individual activities.
Evening sunset cruise of Fort Kochi along with visits to the fish market etc. Here a Theme dinner shall be organized for you with classical performance like Mohiniyattam, Kalaripayattu etc in the hotel.

Day 02 : Cochin (B)
Morning: At 0630 hrs visit to Elephant rescue camp in Kodanad (45kms from Cochin ) to see the Elephant bath, ride and know more about the food habits and nature of elephant from your interaction with Mahouts.
Afternoon: Return back to your hotel by 1100hrs and by 1200hrs sightseeing of Fort Kochi which consists of Mattanchery Dutch Palace, adjascent Jewish Synagogue (closed on Friday's, Saturday's & Jewish Holiday's), the Jew Street, Old Churches and huge Chinese fishing nets, which adorn the northern shores.
Evening watch the excluisive Kathakali show in a local theatre, this dance is characterized by artistic gesticulations, amazing costumes and very extensive make-up. The stories are mostly taken from the Hindu epics of Mahabharata and Ramayana.
Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 03 : Cochin – Kumarakom (B)
Morning: After breakfast drive to Kumarakom (about 70 km / 02 hrs), an unbelievably beautiful paradise of mangrove forests, emerald green paddy fields and coconut groves interspersed with enchanting waterways and canals adorned with white lilies. Laze in a canoe amidst sylvan surroundings where the only presence is yours and the egrets.
Afternoon visit to Ayamanam village to see the agriculture farming, local toddy tapping, fish farm and the snake boat which is used for the boat race. Here a boat race can be organized for you and clients can also participate on their wish.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04 : Kumarakom – Alappuzha ( B, L, D)
Morning after breakfast you can realx at the hotel.
Afternoon embark on the houseboat. This day’s journey of backwaters in the boat, through the tropical countryside, enchanting backwaters of Alleppey by regattas (snake boats) for which Kerala is very famous, enjoying palm fringed narrow canals winding through the vast expanse of paddy fields and the neat tiny hamlets lined up along either side of the canals are panoramic sights one can never forget. An enchanting experience, the backwaters of Kerala reveal some interesting facts about the local life of local village people. Fishing lovers can enjoy fishing while watching the sunset from the sun-deck of the houseboats. Evening: A Vocal music show will be organised on the houseboat and you will have another chance to peep into the culture and history. Lunch, dinner and overnight on the houseboat.
Day 05 : Allapuzha to Marari (20kms) (B)
After breakfast, disembark from the houseboat and travel to Marari. Panchavadyam, at the resort entrance to welcome the group inside with three decorated elephants. Relax on the wonderful beach of Marari.
Optional Activity: You can also enjoy famous Ayurvedic Kerala massage at the Ayurvedic centre at your resort.
Stay overnight at the resort.
Day 06 : Marari (B,D)
Free to relax in the day time and enjoy the dinner with classical dance performance. Overnight stay at the resort.
Optional activity: Half day optional village visit at Vaikom where you will view the activities like coir making, toddy tapping, coconut oil processing and the tour ends with a kerala lunch on banana leaf.
Day 07 : Marari – Cochin Departure (B)
After leisurely breakfast check out and transfer from hotel to Cochin to connect the flight for the onward destination.
