Bollywood-themed dinner and drinks shall be grand and exotic while also being creatively named after blockbuster films such as '3 Idiots' for chips and three dips, ''Maine Pyaaz Kiya' for onion ring starters, 'Hum Aapke Hai Corn' for a corn salad, 'Langda Tyagi' for Chicken tangdi kebabs, 'Daal Daal Dekho' for dal, 'Yeh Hai Bakrapur' for mutton biryani, 'Karan Arjun' for berries and cream... the list is endless. Maharaja Welcome

The grandeur of the palace, its gardens and architecture, inviting the guests with a royal welcome like the days of the maharajas. The welcome from the front façade of the palace gives a marvelous view of the Palace. To welcome the guests stationed is a tableau of decorated Camels, Horses and Elephants with folk musicians. A ceremonial welcome by Ladies in Rajasthani attire performing this traditional welcome with Garlanding, “aarti” and “Tikka” on the forehead is a mark of respect and the ceremony which continues while the music of the dhol, bankia and shehnai follows the spectacular Rose Petal Shower. The traditional welcome is followed by offering of Cold (or Hot) Towels and a refreshing welcome drink. The palace provides a luxurious welcome experience to feel like a maharaja.

Grand Royal Procession Welcome

This theme recreates the ambience of the welcome accorded to a victorious Rajput warrior. The entire driveway to the hotel is lined with caparisoned elephants & camels. Elephants with trunks raised in salute accompany guest who are taken in royal carriages or on elephant back to the hotel. A band of musician & horseman precede the procession amidst a shower of rose petals. Valets drape each lady with dupatta and the gents are dressed with safas. Guests are treated with garlands and the tikka ceremony is performed. Afterwards relax to the music of the shehnai while you sip a gin based drink and enjoy Rajasthani folk dances.

The Re-match of Lagaan

The film is set in the Victorian period of India's colonial British Raj. The story revolves around a small village whose inhabitants, burdened by high taxes, find themselves in an extraordinary situation as an English officer challenges them to a game of cricket as a wager to avoid the taxes. The narrative spins around this situation as the villagers face the arduous task of learning the alien game and playing for a result that will change their village's destiny. A cricket match with the local villages of 10 overs will certainly be fun on the barren grounds outside the village! We will recreate the images of the film and the women can either choose to dress up like the British of the Raj or the Womenfolk of the village and cheer their respective teams. We will witness the rematch of Lagaan!
