GOLDEN TRIANGLE WITH GOA
Day 01 : Arrive in Delhi
Arrive Delhi late at night by International flight. On arrival, you will be met by us at the airport and garlanded with fresh flowers. Reception at the Airport with a “Welcome (Company's name)” banner.
Assistance at the airport and transfer to hotel. Baggage will, in the meantime, be transferred by separate vehicle to the hotel.
As you step into the hotel, ladies in authentic local costumes will greet you with flowers and perform the “aarti” ceremony with a traditional lamp, while they anoint your forehead with the red “tikka” - which is a traditional form of welcome. A Special Welcome Drink (a Fruit Cocktail) will be served while guests are distributed room keys in specially designed key pouches with the “Company's Name & Logo”. Guests will then be escorted to their rooms for immediate check-in. Overnight in a Taj Palace in Delhi.
Day 02 : Delhi
Delhi is a pulsating metropolis of unimaginable contrasts. Ancient and the modern are in juxtaposition here. Magnificent historical monuments bear witness to its great past and a fascinating cultural heritage.
Breakfast at the garden of the hotel. This will be an elaborate affair with garden umbrellas.
Late morning : You will be taken on a tour of New Delhi also known as Lutyens’ Delhi - visiting the Qutab Minar, a tower of victory built in the 12th century and India Gate - the war memorial. Drive past the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the residence of the President of India, the houses of Parliament and the Secretariat buildings.
Lunch at Chor Bizarre Restaurant which serves tasty Kashmiri and Indian fare in quirky surroundings. Bizarre feature include a vintage car, still in working condition, that serves as a salad bar and, for those planning a romantic liaison, there’s a four poster bed table.
After lunch, you will be taken on cycle rickshaws through the narrow lanes of the Old City of Delhi, where time has virtually stood still for hundreds of years. This ride will be most fascinating as you get a first-hand view of the merchants, the little food and artifact stalls and the teeming population, busy in their daily activities.
The cycle Rickshaw ride will meander through to the Red Fort - Shah Jehan's elegant citadel in red sandstone. Very near the Fort is the Jama Masjid (Friday Mosque), India's largest mosque, also built by Shah Jahan.
Return to the hotel by Coach.
Evening : A Welcome Dinner based on Durbar Theme will be organized. Guests will be adorned with `pagris' (turbans) and `chunnis' (shawls) by traditionally dressed ladies and welcomed as they enter with a shower of rose petals and `attar' (perfume). Kathak dancers (classical North Indian) will entertain and a sumptuous Maharaja meal will be served by attendants dressed in the traditional attire of a Royal Durbar (court).

Day 03 : Delhi – Agra – Jaipur
Early morning, you will be transferred to the railway station to board train for Agra. (Baggage would be transferred by a separate vehicle to Jaipur and checked-in to the room before the groups arrival.)
Arrive Agra and board the deluxe coaches to drive to the hotel. Arrive at the hotel to a Special Welcome with garlanding and musicians in attendance. A beautiful “ rangoli “ (a decorative welcome sign) in colored rice showing “Welcome (Compnay's name)” will be created to enhance the welcome. Agra - home to one of the Seven Wonders of the world - the Taj Mahal. The architectural splendor of the mausoleums, the fort and the palaces in Agra is a vivid reminder of the opulence of the legendary Mughal Empire. Agra was their capital for nearly a hundred years from 1564. A pleasant town, with a comparatively easy pace, Agra is known for its superb inlay work on marble and soapstone by artisans who are hereditary craft persons. The city is also famous for its carpets, gold thread embroidery and leather shoes.

Later, a convoy of gaily decorated cycle rickshaws or “tongas” (horse carriages) will take the guests to the world famous Taj Mahal. The convoy will be accompanied by trumpeters and drummers who will add to the joyous ambience. This will be an interesting experience as you meander through the narrow streets of Agra.
The Taj Mahal - the inimitable poem in white marble, is the finest architectural achievement of the Mughals. After visiting the Taj Mahal, board the Deluxe Air conditioned Coach awaiting you and drive to Jaipur (236 kms), enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri.
Fatehpur Sikri (40 kms), the exquisite city built by Akbar the Great in 1569, in red sandstone, with its forts, palaces and mosques was later abandoned 14 years after its creation due to political reasons. Diwani-am - a vast courtyard in which the emperor gave daily public audience, Diwan-i-khas - a large quadrangle where all the major functions of the palace took place, Pachisi court, the emperor's private living quarters, Joda Bai's palace, Mariam's palace, Birbal's palace, Hawa Mahal and Panch Mahal are some of the important buildings of this historical complex.
Stop enroute for lunch at the Midway Garden Restaurant. The elaborate meal will be provided under gaily decorated “Shamianas” (canopies) with a local folk music entertainment.
After lunch, continue drive for Jaipur.
Arrive in Jaipur to a "Maharaja Welcome". As was in the past, when the victorious Maharajas returned from war, a stunning tableau of decorated camels and elephants unfolds before you at the lawns of the palace. Ladies in Rajasthani costumes perform the traditional garlanding, “aarti” and “tikka” ceremonies while the music of the “ shehnai ” welcomes you.
Afterwards relax to music while you sip a Welcome Drink. Guests will be provided their room keys in specially designed pouches.
Evening : A sumptuous buffet Dinner will be provided by the poolside. The meal will be accompanied by live classical music.

Evening : We will organize a Torchlight Dinner . The immaculately manicured lawns of the hotel will be aglow with rows of the flaming Torchlight. Dainty fairy lights will twinkle in the flower bushes and trees. Against this backdrop the magnificently floodlit palace hotel will appear to look even more ethereal by night. It will be a night to remember as folk dancers and musicians regale you with their art in this enchanted environment. Traditional Rajasthani cuisine will be served.

Day 04 : Jaipur
Breakfast will be in the coffee shop.
Jaipur - the capital of Rajasthan, is colour washed pink - the colour associated with hospitality in Rajput culture. This Pink City of fairy tale palaces, rugged fortresses perched on barren hills and broad avenues is picturesque. The first planned city of its time, Jaipur is encircled by a formidable wall.
Morning drive to the old city and stop at the Hawa Mahal, or the “Palace of the Winds”. This most important landmark of the city of Jaipur is an intricately carved facade and is located at the bustling centre of market activity. Proceed on an excursion to Amber, the capital of the erstwhile State of Jaipur until 1728. Perched on a hill, it has halls of Public and Private audience, a Sheesh Mahal (hall of mirrors) and various marble palaces which are marvelous examples of ancient Rajput architecture.
Visit this fort and also the temple of Amba (the Mother Goddess), the patron deity of the Maharajas. Lunch will be at the Raj Palace. The ancient palace, in the heart of the city of Jaipur, has a delightful courtyard which is elaborately decorated in traditional architecture. Traditional Dancers and Musicians will entertain while a sumptuous buffet spread will be laid-out.
After the lunch, return to the hotel enroute visiting the City Palace - the former royal residence built in a blend of the Rajasthani and Mughal styles and the Jantar Mantar - a stone astrological and astronomical Observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh in the 18th century.
Evening : Drive to Choki Dhani, a Rajasthani village set-up for a traditional Rajasthani evening. A very special Rajasthani evening will be organized with puppeteers and folk dancers to entertain. Thousands of lanterns will illuminate the venue and create an ethereal ambience.

Evening : Enjoy Rajasthani Dinner - a very special evening organized at the lawns of the hotel with cocktails served on arrival. The evening will begin with the guests being welcomed under floral archways. Rajasthani Folk Dancers, Puppeteers and Musicians will entertain and an elaborate and delectable Bar-be-Que spread will be laid-out.

Day 05 : Jaipur – Mumbai – Goa
Early morning, you will be transferred from the hotel to the airport to board your flight to Goa via Mumbai. (Baggage would have been transferred by separate Baggage van and pre-check in would be done till Goa - to save time at the airport.)
Breakfast will be served on board the flight.
Assistance on arrival at the Mumbai airport and board the onward flight for Goa. On arrival, you will be met by our representatives at the Airport with a “Welcome (Company's name)” banner. You will be welcomed with Garlands made of fresh flowers and transferred to the hotel in a Deluxe Coach through which will drive through the picturesque Goan country side.

Transfer to the hotel by air-conditioned Ambassador cars (one couple to a car), traveling in a convoy and driving through picturesque Goan countryside for about one hour. This car is a quaint but robust vehicle, very vintage in shape and look.
Goa conjures up a land of scenic beauty with abundant sun, sand and sea. On the west coast, half way between Mumbai in the north and Kochi (Cochin) in the south, Goa was under Portuguese rule till 1961 and hence has a very striking and interesting amalgam of Iberian and Indian culture.
Arrive at the Resort to a grand floral welcome with traditional Goan Calypso music in attendance. A Special Welcome Drink (a Fruit Cocktail) will be served while guests are distributed room keys in specially designed key pouches with the “ Company's logo” on it. (Baggage will in the meantime, be transferred by separate vehicle to the hotel)
Lunch will be by the poolside of the resort. Rest of the day free to relax on the beach or participate in the various Water Sport activities (payment for these activities would be direct).
Evening : Tonight, we shall organize a sumptuous Buffet Dinner at the garden where you’ll discover the joys of Goan cuisine. Here again the local folk musician will provide the entertainment.

Day 06 : Goa
Breakfast at the Resort.
Morning we shall take you on a tour of Goa visiting the magnificent church of the Basilica of Bom Jesus - built in the 16th century which still houses the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier, a great saint. His remains are preserved intact in a silver casket and there is an exposition of his body once in 12 years. This church is dedicated to Infant Jesus. The Se Cathedral has superb architecture with intricately carved altars fitted with gold.
Return to the Resort for Lunch.
Afternoon : Free to relax on the beach or participate in the various Water Sport activities (direct payment).
Evening: Tonight, we shall organize a Candle Lit Dinner. This romantic Dinner will be organized in the garden of the hotel especially for you. You will arrive on the sandbank just in time to view the golden sunset over the Arabian Sea. The butler waits to mix a cocktail while you and your beloved watch the sun go down. As night falls, you proceed to a candlelit table in the garden, where you are served a succulent Goan buffet dinner under the stars with only the sounds of ocean lapping nearby.

Evening : We will organize a Seafood Barbecue Dinner on the beach. As the name suggests, this would be set up on the beach and the waiters would be dressed in local Goan costumes and the entertainment would also be in conformity to the evening. Along a stretch of the beach, a barbecue is setup. Dine under a starlit sky on succulent lobsters, jumbo prawns and other local seafood delicacies. Guests may cook their own food on skewers over a camp-fire. A local musician with his guitar will enhance the magic of the moment with his music. We could also have Western music band for entertainment and dancing.

Day 07 : Goa
Breakfast at the lawns of the hotel.
Lunch at the hotel.
Day at leisure to relax at the beach or participate in Beach Ball or Beach Volley Ball. This will be organized as a tournament so that the whole group can participate.
Or
Participate in diving at selected diving sites. These dives will be undertaken under the supervision of the professionals certified by PADI of California , USA.
Or
Take part in beach sports like Para Sailing, Water skiing, speed boat ride, wind surfing, watching Dolphins etc .
Or
Take a cruise on the Sal river sailing upstream for a day of fishing. This cruise will be by local boats which will offer plenty of opportunity for taking in the sun and fishing. Freshly caught fish will be prepared on board along with barbecued King Prawns. A Goan folk band will entertain with traditional as well as Western Music. (additional cost)
Or
Visit an old Portuguese Mansion built at the time when Goa was part of Portugal. The Mansion, made of wood with Portuguese colonial architecture is an imposing building offering a wide variety of artifacts. The host, a traditional gentleman, will regale the guests with stories of the days when Goa was a Portuguese dominion. High tea will be served at the mansion. (additional cost)
Or
A safari competition will be held on this day where guests would drive in chauffer driven Ambassador Cars (very traditional Indian, and quite safe) and participate in an interactive day of fun and games.
This would involve travelling through the Goan country side through Panaji, across the Mandovi by ferry and then through parts of North Goa. Each participant will be given a series of clues which will guide him through his route (each completed leg will automatically guide his next leg) till the completion of the entire circuit. Mid way through this safari lunch will be organized in an interesting venue - perhaps a beach in North Goa ( additional cost based on TWO persons per car) Evening : Tonight, we shall organize a very special Hippie Style Fishing Village Theme dinner - A get-together for a “ 4B Evening “ [ Boysterous Barefoot Beach Bar-be-Que ] on the moonlit beach, set against the backdrop of a typical Kunbi fishing village. Boats, nets and traditionally costumed waiters will add to the ambience. An elaborate Sea-Food Buffet will be served “ under the stars “. Strolling musicians will entertain the guests to a romantic experience.
The dress code for this very special evening will be of the Hippies of the 60's. (The mood and ambience will perhaps not require any assistance from the “Chillum”!)]. Western music entertainment will add to the gaiety. The evening will be come to an end with a spectacular Fireworks display showing “Farewell (Company's name) Incentive”.

Day 08 : Goa – Mumbai – Outbound
Today, brunch will be organized by the poolside. This will be a long drawn-out affair and guests will be encouraged to come at their convenience.
Afternoon transfer to the airport to board the flight for Mumbai. (Baggage would be transferred to the airport in a separate vehicle to be pre-checked in and boarding passes obtained in advance.) Arrival at Mumbai and transfer to the hotel, located near the airport for the dinner. Rooms for day use will be provided for Wash & Change. (Baggage in the meanwhile would be pre-checked in and boarding passes obtained earlier to ensure minimum wait at the airport).
Dinner will be provided at the Restaurant.
Later transfer to international airport for your flight to onward destination.
