Day 1: ARRIVE SRINAGAR

Srinagar is the capital of the northernmost Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. It is located in Kashmir Valley and lies on the banks of the Jhelum River, a tributary of the Indus. While not the largest, it is one of the biggest cities in India without a Hindu majority.The city is famous for its lakes and houseboats. It is also known for traditional Kashmiri handicrafts and dry fruits. It is also the headquarters of Srinagar district. On arrival to Srinagar. you will be met and transferred by our representative to the deluxe houseboat. Rest of the day ay leisure. Dinner and overnight at the houseboat.

Day 2: SRINAGAR SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast, enjoy the sightseeing of the Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh – abode of pleasure and Shalimar Bagh - abode of Love. Later in the noon, enjoy a Shikara Ride on Dal Lake. Dinner and overnight at the houseboat.

Day 3: SRINAGAR TO PAHALGAM

After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam. Check in at the hotel. Evening is free for leisure. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Pahalgam: At an altitude of 2,130m and about 95-km from Srinagar, Pahalgam is probably the most popular hill resort in the Kashmir valley. Mughal rulers ruled this region in the medieval period. It was later a part of the Kingdom of Kashmir, which was ruled by local Hindu rulers. This princely state remained independent even during the British period and later on merged into independent India.

Day 4:  PAHALGAM SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast visit the Valley of Shepherds. Enroute visit the Saffron Fields, Awantipur Ruins- a 1100 years old Vishnu Temple with beautiful country side with rice fields and through the Pine forest. Once in Pahalgam, praise the natural beauty and enjoy bridle walk and feed your cameras. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 5:  PAHALGAM TO DRIVE SRINAGAR AND DEPARTURE

After breakfast, drive to Srinagar and transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
