Day 01 : Ahmedabad (Arrival)

Arrive Ahmedabad and get greeted by our tour representative. Get assisted transfer to hotel and stay overnight

Day 02 : Ahmedabad

After having breakfast, visit the Calico Museum-  primary textile museum of India, showcasing amazing artworks; Swaminarayan Temple-  oldest temple of Swaminarayan  and then proceed to Akshardham Temple (Gandhinagar)-a temple dedicated to Swaminarayan, with brilliant architecture spread over and area of 23 acres; and Adalaj Stepwell- a ‘water building’ (a five story well) dating back to the 15th century. By late evening get back to the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 03: Ahmedabad – Palitana – Bhavnagar

In the morning, we will drive to Palitana, the gateway to the Shatrunjaya hill and one of the holiest Jain pilgrimage sites. There are about 863 temples on the top of the hill that are built over a span of 900 years and are elegantly carved in marble. After reaching on the top, you will visit the Jain temple, which is dedicated to Shri Adishwara; the first Jain Tirhankara (apostle). This temple is one of the most magnificent and sacred temples in Shtrunjaya hill. Further, we will visit the Chaumukha or four faced temple. This temple has an image of Adinath facing out in the fore cardinal direction. 
Further, we will visit the Nilambag Palace, which is the residence of the current Maharaja of Bhavnagar. Also, we will visit the Mangalsinhji Mahal Palace, which is the residence of the members of the Bhavnagar royal family. Another interesting place to explore is the Gaurishankar Lake. It is a beautiful lake located between small hills and was made by Shree Gaurishankar Oza, the Diwan of Bhavnagar.  Later, we will return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 04: Bhavnagar – Sasangir

After breakfast, check out and leave for Sasangir. On the way, optional halt at Junagarh to visit- Uparkot Fort (built by Chandra Gupt Maurya, dating back to 319 BC). Arrive Sasangir by late evening, check in to the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 05: Sasangir

Day to be used in morning and afternoon safaris in Sasangir National park - the only home of Asiatic Lions. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06: Diu

Morning checkout and drive to Diu. On arrival check in at hotel. Diu is amongst the least populated districts of India and as it is a historical part of Saurashtra region, this makes it a significant place to visit. Remaining day free to relax at your beach resort.

Day 07: Diu

Today, after breakfast, you are free to explore Diu’s attractions and its famous beaches like Nagoa Beach. By late evening, you return to the room and stay overnight.

Day 08: Diu - Rajkot

You can enjoy alluring view of the sunrise in the beach, return to the hotel for breakfast and then leave for Rajkot. On arrival you will be transferred to Rajkot airport for your flight to Mumbai. Board the connecting flight back home (tour ends)
