A gala dinner can be organized on the grounds of the hotel, adjoining the backwaters, where a traditional Kerala village has been set up in all its splendour. Girls dressed in elegant settu mundu welcome the guests with a thalapoli, brass platters containing lamps and fragrant jasmines. Guests enter through a traditional archway specially created for the evening to the recreated Kerala village. A cultural programme of Thiruvathirakali, a traditional dance performed by village belles during the harvest festival of Onam, is included in the theme.

Other cultural programmes like Mohiniyattom, Kathakali or Kalaripayattu the martial art form of Kerala can also be organized. The lavish Kerala buffet will be served from food counters with thatched roofs, in keeping with the theme. The entire venue will be done up with fairy lights

This evening also learn about Kerala's fascinating art from, Kathakali. The Kathakali performers begin to train for their art at a young age, and their study continues for a lifetime. Today you will enjoy a dance performance.
