We recommend closing the incentive with what is one of the most colourful themes of the region – a recreation of the Goan Carnival.

 

The Goan Carnival Extravaganza

Fat - Fat Saturday to shrove Tuesday, the locals let go of every work for fun, frolic, music, dance and wine…..Goa is famous for its countless feasts and festivals but the Carnival remains the most jubilant, exciting non-stop extravaganza. King Momo, the King of carnival marches to the blowing brass band with his whole carnival troupe - Clowns, Merry makers and the carnival dancers. The King then proclaims his verdict ‘ Freedom of heart, mind and soul’ which will prohibit anybody behaving sensible in his entire kingdom.

 

Be apart of this revelry with the Mad Carnival march for every one with whistles and hats and the tune of the Brass band marching along. The air is filled with the boom and a thousand lights of the firecrackers, which are an integral part of this pagan night. To add up to the carnival spirit try out innovative ‘Fresh Feni’ cocktails prepared especially for you by our Feni Master. We offer you an elaborate Goan buffet with seafood straight out of the Arabian Sea, cooked the way you like it.

 

Décor : Entrance – large entrance arches will be decorated with moss entwined with colourful foil sheets. Each arch will have a lantern hanging from the middle. Colourful wooden carnival cut-outs will be placed around the arches.

 

Venue:

• Colourful paper streamers will be hung above the function area.

• Cut-outs of various carnival designs will be placed around the bar, buffet and function area

• Colorful balloons will be tied to the arches and trees in the function area

• Helium balloons and cutouts will decorate the stage area

• Large lanterns on metal stands to be placed around the bar and buffet counters

• Serial lights will light up the entire function area

 

Flow of Events

• M. C. dressed in his Carnival outfit will welcome the guests and introduce the evening

• Band will start the evening with some soft music

• Carnival troupe members will hand out the Carnival Caps and Whistles to all the guests.

• After the initial one hour of music by the Band the Grand Carnival Parade Begins

• Brass band leader the parade followed by King Momo and his entourage of clowns and merry makers

• all the guests are invited to join the Parade which ends on the Dance Floor

• King Momo then declares the Carnival open to fanfare of music the band then taken over for an one

hour non stop session of pulsating dancing music
